Fasting Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Wednesday and is our scheduled fasting day. For those who have not fasted food before, try to at least fast lunch. Others of you may fast breakfast and lunch. Here are a few things to keep in mind.

1- Decide ahead of time (like by the end of the day today) what you are going to do and stick to it.
2- Tell one person about your fast who can be praying for you and with you.
3- Drink a lot of water. Avoid drinking a lot of coffee and sodas; it is unhealthy. You will crave these things even more (especially sugar) when you are not eating. Drink as much water as possible.
4- Have a focus for the day. Think of something/someone very specific to pray for*

*Bethany Gooch is still in the hospital and needs our prayers. Please pray for her lungs to be clear of all fluid and for the doctors to be able to get her on the right medication to control her seizures.
