New post, new baby, new series.

Well ... we came back from vacation I am really slacking on the blog front. So, just a quick post to let you know:

#1: In case weren't there to hear it last Sunday, Jackie and I are expecting baby #3. If you've had a chance to spend time with our other two kids, then you know that there is a good chance this one's going to be a good one! ;)

We do appreciate your prayers for Jackie (especially on Saturday night/Sunday morning) as having trouble sleeping and waking up with morning sickness makes it harder to lead worship.

#2: We start a new series tomorrow on the book of 2 Timothy called STAND (standing on the truth of the Gospel). We are going to go verse-by-verse through this powerful letter written by the Apostle Paul from prison to Timothy, a young leader in the church. We start tomorrow with a well-known a powerful verse about how the spirit God gave us is not of fear but of power, love, and discipline.
