We don't know what to do, but our eyes are upon you, Lord.

Here are the notes from today's sermon on 2 Chronicles 20.

Ways God protects his people from danger:

By preventing dangerous things from even approaching the horizon of our lives.

By allowing us to walk through dangerous things so that we could see His power and serve him joyfully.

Jehoshaphat’s Prayer:

  1. Acknowledges God’s Sovereign power
  2. Acknowledges God’s faithfulness in the past
  3. Brings before God his request
  4. Sets his attention on God for an answer

God’s response:

  1. Do not be afraid
  2. This battle is mine
  3. I will be with you

God fights our battles for us that we cannot win ourselves.

God fights our battles for us on His terms for His glory.
