I just ran across this article. It's written by a pastor in NYC and it was referenced on the website at the church Matt Chandler pastors (see my post below for details on Matt.) It's a short read and worth your time. Never considered the difference in the two words hope and desire. Check it out here.

*btw: I have a "Keep Christ in Christmas" sticker on my van. So, just in case anyone missed my point this morning ... I was just saying that we are called to FAR MORE than just seeing America return to some of its earlier values. We are called to live as exiles who are building His Kingdom. Merry Christmas!!!
