I just spoke with Nancy. I would like to pass on to you some of what she told me.
Her brother, Stuart, got into town Sunday afternoon. When he came into the hospital room, her dad opened his eyes for about 15 minutes. Stuart was able to reassure his dad that he would take care of the family. Nancy believes that was what he needed to hear. After that, she said, everything about his countenance changed and -- as she puts it -- his body "seemed to just be on autopilot." The family has decided to remove him from fluids and the doctors expect Stu to pass away sometime in the next couple of days. The family is together and in complete unity regarding the decision. Please pray that they continue to experience God's peace and comfort as they already have.
