For those of you brave souls who are doing the 3-day fast, it starts tomorrow. I'm hoping to have a video message to you done by the end of the evening. (might be late, though)
A few quick thoughts for you, though:
(those of you who are doing the 30 hour fast have a bit more time)
1- Have a focus. You can download the fasting guide here for more help.
2- Have a prayer partner. Make sure at least one person knows what you are doing, is praying for you, and is regularly checking in with you.
3- Make a plan. Plan some times in the day to spend with the Lord reading the Word and in prayer. Maybe wake up extra early or skip a TV show. Just plan ahead. If you don't, then it won't happen.
For those of you who have never done this, it is a big challenged. So, prepare for that and don't be surprised by it. Ask the Lord to reveal himself to you in a whole new way. It is going to be an exciting week!
