What to do on October 31st

Wanted to pass on some ideas for this coming Saturday Night ... feel free to pass on any more in the "comments" section.

Light the Night
Who: teenagers and adult volunteers
What: going door-to-door collecting can good for local food banks -- followed by a party afterwards in the gym
Where: JICC gym
When: 6-10pm
Details: need helpers, please sign up here

Hallelujah Night
Who: Families
What: Festival with jump castle, games, food, etc.
Where: Emmanuel Baptist Church on Folly Road (joined with a few other local churches)
When: 5-8pm
Details: Free event, children are encouraged NOT to wear costumes.

Judgement House
Who: anyone 10 and older
What: A dramatic walk-through presentation of the consequences of sin and out need for a Savior.
Where: Charleston Baptist Church
Details: Featuring JICC's very own Farmer Family (that is Dolph and Laura and kids -- not actual Farmers). Will probably be very crowded, you can reserve spaces here. [the church encourages people to come on Saturday as the other nights are filling up.]

  1. We went to the Judgement House walk through play tonight and we strongly suggest it for anyone who's free tomorrow night. It's the last night. It's free but they do suggest you make reservations. 556-4673 It's not for small children though. If childcare is an issue, give me a call maybe I can help. Rhoda 559-6021
