The Myth of the "good guy"

Sorry it took me a day to get this up. I'm curious about what you guys thought about the sermon on "the good guy." A lot of my material came from studying the book "Finally Alive" by John Piper. Links to a free copy of his book can be found in the post from last Sunday. Hope you are enjoying the series! (I'm enjoying preaching it.) -- Pastor Russ

  1. Its a hard message to hear. We like to think that we're all saved and that we'll see each other in heaven one day. I have people in my life I love very much that won't make it w/o salvation. Think about that.
At the same time, am I changed? I think I can do more. I think that I struggle with things but who doesn't?
Another question, What does it really mean to be Christian; a Godly man. It's a challenge, really. I know, thank God, I'm a better man than I was a year ago. I want to be able to say the same a year from now.
